Benefits and Strategic Uses of Private Interest Foundations:
Favorable Tax Regime
Income and contributions received by the Foundation are not subject to taxes, contributions, fees or levies in Panama.
Robust confidentiality
The information and data of the Foundation's Beneficiaries are confidential and private, detailed in a Private Regulation that does not require registration in the Public Registry.
Unbreakable Asset Protection
The Foundation is the ideal legal entity to protect assets against excessive tax collections, creditor claims, family disputes (such as divorce proceedings), or other obligations. The assets of a Foundation cannot be used to pay the debts of the Founder or beneficiaries.

The Foundation's Bylaws may be drafted to protect minors or those who are unable to manage their own property, specifying guidelines and rules for handling income payments or distributing assets to family members.
